Explanation

The road traffic legislation provides, as a basic rule, that the overtaking maneuver is carried out only on the left side of the overtaken vehicle. However, although the general rule of overtaking vehicles requires that overtaking be carried out on the left side, the road traffic legislation provides that both the tram and the vehicle whose driver has signalled and has positioned correctly for leaving the direction of travel to the left are overtaken on the right side, provided that the remaining space allows the performance of this maneuver. We must take into account that sufficient space must be created to be able to overtake these vehicles on the right side, and if there is not enough space, it is not allowed to drive, even partially, onto the sidewalk.

The correct answer is: C
