The priority-regime column will always have in operation special red-coloured sound and light warning signals which oblige road users to stop in the direction of travel as close as possible to the edge of the road, and when it is encountered in intersections, it has the obligation to give priority.
Therefore, when you encounter an official column, whether or not the traffic police officer who accompanies the column extends the arm with or without the reflective baton on the right side of the police motor vehicle, you have the obligation to stop immediately on the shoulder or, in its absence, as close as possible to the edge of the road or the curb of the sidewalk, in the direction of travel.
