You are not prohibited from stopping at less than 100 meters from the industrial railway, the stopping being prohibited on the platform of the industrial railway or tramway or at less than 50 m from these, if the movement of vehicles on the rails could be hindered or prevented.
Stopping is allowed on the sidewalk, in the places signalled as such, more precisely if the administrator of the public road has executed in certain areas of the sidewalk arrangements designated for stopping or waiting of vehicles. The administrator must respect the corridor designated for the movement of pedestrians, which cannot be less than 1 m wide. It must be taken into account that in the places where stopping/waiting/parking on the sidewalk is allowed, the road legislation prohibits these manoeuvres if the respective vehicle, through its dimensions, cannot be positioned so that the portion of the width of the sidewalk that remains at the disposal of the movement of pedestrians is at least one meter.
On the road sections where the sign “Priority for the traffic from the opposite direction” or the sign “Priority to the traffic from the opposite direction” is installed is prohibited the voluntary stopping of vehicles. The same prohibition applies also on the road sections where the sign “Road narrowed” is installed, whether or not the above regulatory priority signs are also installed.
