In urban areas, when the traffic is heavy, the reflective triangles may be placed at a smaller distance or even on the vehicle, so that they can be observed in time by the other drivers of vehicles.

a) when the vehicle is involuntarily immobilized on the carriageway;
b) when the vehicle moves very slowly and/or constitutes itself a danger for the other traffic participants;
c) when the motor vehicle, the agricultural or forestry tractor or the tram is towed.

(6) In the situations provided in paragraph (5), the drivers of motor vehicles, agricultural or forestry tractors and trams must put into operation the hazard warning lights, successively, in the order of stopping and in case this maneuver is required by the blocking of the traffic on the direction of travel.
