At the uncontrolled intersection of two roads of different categories the priority from the right rule does not apply, priority will be given to the vehicles moving on “the superior road”.
The priority from the right rule will apply in the uncontrolled intersection if the roads that intersect are of the same category (for example two communal roads or two streets in a city). If the roads that intersect are of different categories, priority will be given to the vehicles moving on “the superior road”.
Therefore, when you come from a local road and you want to enter a communal road, you are obliged to give priority to the vehicles moving on the communal road.
The categories of roads can be identified by the presence of different types of kilometric signs (kilometric markers) having different colours depending on the category of the road. Red for national road, blue for county road and yellow for communal road.
