Art. 123. – The driver of the vehicle is obliged to drive at a speed that does not exceed 30 km/h in the urban area or 50 km/h outside the built-up area in the following situations:
a) when passing through intersections with undirected traffic;
b) in particularly dangerous curves signalled as such or in which visibility is less than 50 m;
d) when passing by organized groups, military columns or processions, regardless of whether they are moving or standing on the carriageway of roads with a single lane per direction;
e) when passing by animals that are being driven on the carriageway or on the shoulder;
f) when the carriageway is covered with black ice, ice, packed snow, slush or wet cobblestone;
g) on uneven roads, signalled as such;
h) in the area of action of the warning sign “Children” between 0700 – 2200 as well as the sign “Accident”;
i) at nonsignalized pedestrian crossings, signalled by signs and markings, when the public road has at most one lane per direction, and pedestrians located on the sidewalk, in the immediate vicinity of the carriageway, intend to begin crossing;
j) when changing direction through turns;
k) when visibility is under 100 m in conditions of fog, torrential rain, heavy snowfall.
Art. 48. - The driver of the vehicle must respect the legal speed limit and adapt it according to the road conditions so as to be able to perform any maneuver safely.
