Explanation

Explanation text category C / driving test questions drpciv:
In the intersections not controlled the driver of vehicle is obliged to give priority to the vehicles that move on rails. These lose the priority when performing the left turn. Therefore in the situation in which in an intersection the tram makes the left turn and intersects with the direction in which you are travelling from the opposite direction, the tram does not have priority.
Correct answer: A

Reference article from the road legislation in force: OUG or Regulation
Art. 59.
(1) In the intersections with not controlled traffic, the driver of vehicle is obliged to give priority to the vehicles that move on rails. These lose the priority when performing the left turn or when the traffic signalling in that area establishes another traffic rule.
(2) In the intersections, the drivers of the vehicles that turn left are obliged to give priority to the vehicles with which they intersect and which move from the right side.
(3) In the intersections with traffic controlled by priority signs, the right priority rule is respected only if two vehicles are going to meet, each entering the intersection from a road signalled with a sign having the same priority significance or loss of priority.
(4) When a traffic light with three colours has an additional intermittent green light, mounted at the same level with the normal green light of the traffic light, in the form of a green arrow on black background, with the tip to the right, its lighting signifies the permission for the vehicles to continue their road in the direction indicated by the arrow, regardless of the colour of the electric traffic light, with the condition of giving priority to the vehicles and pedestrians that have the right of movement.
