Art. 128.
(1) Is prohibited moving in reverse with the vehicle:
a) in the cases provided in art. 126, except for letter d);
b) for a distance greater than 50 m;
c) when exiting from properties adjacent to public roads.
(2) In the places where moving in reverse is allowed but the visibility behind is obstructed, the vehicle may be maneuvered in reverse only when its driver is directed by at least one person located outside the vehicle.
(3) The person who directs the maneuvering in reverse of a vehicle is obliged to make sure that the maneuver is performed without endangering the safety of the traffic participants.
(4) Moving in reverse with the motor vehicle must be signalled with the special light or lights with which the vehicle is equipped. It is recommended the equipping of the motor vehicles also with sound devices for signalling this maneuver.
Art. 126. – Is prohibited the U-turn of the vehicle:
a) in the places where the voluntary stopping of the vehicles is prohibited, except for the cases provided in art. 142 letter f);
b) in the intersections where the left turn is prohibited, as well as in those where, for its performance, it is necessary to maneuver the vehicle forward and backward;
c) in the places where the solidity of the road does not allow it;
d) on one-way roads;
e) on the pedestrian marking;
f) in the places where the sign "No U-turn" is installed.
Art. 142. – Is prohibited the voluntary stopping of the vehicles:
a) in the action area of the sign "No stopping";
b) on the level crossings with the current railway and at a distance less than 50 m before and after them;
c) on bridges, on and under uneven passages, as well as on viaducts;
d) in curves and in other places with reduced visibility under 50 m;
e) on the pedestrian crossings or at less than 25 m before and before them;
f) in intersections, including those with traffic in a roundabout, as well as in the preselecţie area where continuous markings are applied, and in their absence, at a distance less than 25 m from the corner of the intersection;
g) in the stations of the public transport means for persons, as well as at less than 25 m before and after them;
h) at the position of another vehicle stopped on the carriageway, if through this the circulation of two vehicles coming from opposite directions is hindered, as well as at the position of the continuous marking, in the case in which the drivers of the other vehicles that move in the same direction would be obliged, because of this, to pass over this marking;
i) in the place where the visibility over a sign or luminous signal is obstructed;
j) on the road sectors where the signs with the meaning "Narrow road", "Priority for the traffic from the opposite direction" or "Priority over the traffic from the opposite direction" are installed;
k) on the mandatory lanes for pedestrians and/or cyclists or on the lanes reserved for certain categories of vehicles, signalled as such;
l) on the platform of the industrial or tram railway or at less than 50 m from them, if the circulation of the vehicles on rails could be hindered or obstructed;
m) on the carriageway of the motorways, of the express roads and of the national European (E) roads;
n) on the pavement, if a space of at least 1 m for the circulation of the pedestrians is not ensured;
o) on the bicycle lanes;
p) in the places where overtaking is prohibited.
