Explanation

Explanation text category C / driving test questions drpciv:
Buses and heavy trucks have, besides the wheel brake, other deceleration devices. The exhaust brake (the engine brake) is a decelerator which interrupts the diesel fuel supply and blocks the exhaust gases. The electromagnetic brake is a decelerator which brakes the cardan shaft (the transmission) with the help of an electromagnet.
Therefore the exhaust brake keeps the engine warm at idle and performs the engine brake.
Correct answer: B
