The overtaking maneuver is not prohibited for you when you transport dangerous goods or products.

Art. 176.Is prohibited the the driver of the motor vehicle who transports dangerous goods or products:
a) to cause shocks to the motor vehicle while moving;
b) to smoke while driving or to light a fire when stopping or waiting, at a distance less than 50 m from the motor vehicle;
c) to leave the motor vehicle and the load without his supervision, of the attendant or of another qualified person;
d) to tow a vehicle that has broken down;
e) to follow other routes or to wait in places other than those established, as well as on the carriageway of the road at night;
f) to transport other loads which, by their nature, could cause an increase of the danger;
g) to allow the presence in the motor vehicle of other persons, except the other driver, the attendants or those who load or unload the goods or products transported;
h) to enter the road sections on which his access is prohibited;
i) to keep in the motor vehicle reserves of fuel in packages which are not specially made for this purpose.
