Question 485 of 533

By aggressive behavior is understood the performance, on the public road, by the driver of the vehicle:

A the maneuver of moving backward for the purpose of intimidating the other traffic participants who move behind it;
B the maneuver of moving in reverse for a distance greater than 50 meters;
C the maneuver of turning the vehicle by using the parking brake.

Explanation

For answers  A  and  C

It is prohibited the adoption of aggressive behavior in driving them on public roads. The maneuver of moving backward for the purpose of intimidating the other traffic participants who move behind it, as well as the maneuver of turning the vehicle by using the parking brake are considered to be aggressive behavior, being prohibited the performance of these maneuvers on public roads.

The adoption of aggressive behavior in driving vehicles on public roads is sanctioned with contravention, as follows:

  • if by the adoption of aggressive behavior a traffic accident has occurred from which resulted the damaging of a vehicle or other material damages (meaning a road accident without victims), the fine provided in the 3rd class of sanctions and the suspension of the right to drive for a period of 60 days are applied;
  • if by the adoption of aggressive behavior NO traffic accident has occurred, the fine provided in the 2nd class of sanctions and the suspension of the right to drive for a period of 30 days are applied.

For answer  B

The driver of the vehicle is prohibited to perform the maneuver of moving in reverse for a distance greater than 50 meters. The non‑observance of this prohibition is NOT considered to be aggressive behavior but is sanctioned with the fine provided in the 1st class of sanctions and with the application of 2 penalty points.
