Question 513 of 533

You move on the road in a queue. How do you behave?

A you overtake the queue, as much as possible in a single maneuver;
B you keep an appropriate distance from the one moving ahead and you are attentive to the other road users;
C you drive very close to the vehicle ahead, so as not to fall behind.

Explanation

For answer  A

The driver of the vehicle who overtakes is obliged to make sure that he has enough space to re-enter the initial lane, where he must return after performing the overtaking maneuver. Considering that in the wording of the question it is specified that you move in a queue, you cannot perform the overtaking maneuver because there will not be enough space to re-enter the initial lane.

Moreover, is prohibited the overtaking of vehicles on the road section where a queue of waiting vehicles has formed, if by this the opposite direction of travel is entered, as well as the overtaking of a queue of vehicles stopped at the red color of the traffic light or at a level crossing with the railway, regardless of whether or not by this the opposite direction of travel is entered.

For answer  B

When the road is crowded and you move in a queue, you must keep a sufficient distance from the vehicle moving ahead to avoid possible collisions and to be able to stop, if needed, in safe conditions, being recommended to drive with increased attention, observing the behaviour of the other road users.

For answer  C

You must keep a sufficient distance from the vehicle moving ahead to avoid collision in any situation, even when you move on the road in a queue.

The correct answer is: B
