Besides the obligation to stop at the signals of the traffic police officer, the participants in traffic are obliged to stop also at the signals of the members of the school traffic patrols, at the pedestrian crossings near the educational units. Failure to respect these signals is sanctioned with the fine provided in the second class of sanctions.
It is not mandatory the stopping at the signals given by the authorized personnel within the Ministry of Transport (not to be confused with the traffic guides of the Ministry of Defence).
