Question 381 of 1208

When are you obliged to stop the vehicle?

A at the signals of the traffic guides of the Ministry of National Defence;
B at the signals of the drivers of vehicles who turn right;
C at the signals of the drivers of the vehicles coming from the opposite direction.

Explanation

In addition to the obligation to stop at the signals of the traffic police officer, the participants in traffic are obliged to stop also at the signals of the traffic guides of the Ministry of National Defence. The latter can make, in addition to stop signals, the following signals: the brisk rotation of the arm in a vertical plane, with the palm facing the ground or with a means of signalling, which signifies speed reduction, as well as the brisk rotation of the arm, which signifies the increase of the travel speed of the vehicles, including hastening the road crossing by pedestrians. Failure to comply with these signals is sanctioned with a fine provided in the second class of sanctions.

It is not mandatory to stop at the signals of the drivers of vehicles who turn right or of the drivers of the vehicles coming from the opposite direction.
