(1) Stopping is considered the voluntary immobilization of a vehicle on the public road, for a duration of no more than 5 minutes. Over this duration, the immobilization is considered waiting.

(5) The vehicle stopped or waiting on the carriageway must be positioned next to and parallel with its edge, in a single row, unless another means of signalling provides otherwise. Motorcycles without sidecars, mopeds and bicycles may be stopped or waiting also two at a time, side by side.
