On the motorway the circulation of vehicles equipped with a trailer is permitted, but on the condition that the respective combination can exceed the speed of 50 km/h. For example, if a car equipped with a trailer can travel at a speed greater than 50 km/h, its circulation on the motorway is permitted.
We must take into account the fact that the maximum speed at which motor vehicles equipped with a trailer can move outside the urban area (implicitly also on the motorway) is 10 km/h lower than the maximum permitted speed. Thus the cars, more precisely the motor vehicles from category B, will travel on the motorway with a maximum of 120 km/h.
To travel with the car equipped with a trailer on the motorway it is NOT necessary an authorization from the traffic police officer. The special authorization from answer C is obtained from the administrator of the public road and is necessary only in certain specific cases, such as when the respective combination of vehicles is not permitted to travel on the motorway normally.
The correct answer is: B
