GENERAL Learning Environment Category B (B, B1)
Question 175 of 1208

What is the correct way to proceed if you are behind the wheel of the red car?

A turning left, you can engage only last;
B you engage first in crossing;
C you allow the tram to pass.

Explanation

In this situation you are behind the wheel of the red car and you intend to turn left in this intersection which is directed by regulatory priority signs.

The tram and the blue car come from non-priority roads, encountering the sign “Give way”, and must give priority to the red motor vehicle you are driving because you come from the priority road.

You encounter the sign “Priority road” and you will pass before the tram and the blue car through this intersection.

Therefore, being behind the wheel of the red car, you will engage first in crossing the intersection, and the passing order is the following: the red car you are driving, followed by the blue car, and the last through this intersection will pass the tram.

The correct answer is: B
