Question 942 of 1208

Which of the vehicles have priority of passage through the presented intersection?

A the truck and the car;
B the motorcycle and the tram;
C the motorcycle and the truck.

Explanation

We draw attention that, although this circular-shaped intersection resembles very much an intersection in which the traffic takes place in a roundabout, in this one the traffic is controlled by regulatory priority signs, it not being an intersection with traffic in a roundabout.

Under each sign is installed an additional panel which indicates the direction of the priority road. The car and the tram come from roads without priority, encountering the sign “Give way”, and are obliged to give priority of passage to the truck and the motorcycle which come from the priority road, encountering the sign “Priority road”, and have priority of passage over the car and the tram in this intersection.

Therefore, taking into account that in the text of this question it is NOT asked the order of passage through the intersection, but it is asked to state which of the vehicles have priority of passage, in this intersection have priority of passage the truck and the motorcycle. Nevertheless, the tram proceeded wrongly by entering the intersection, thus being able to block the traffic in it.

The correct answer is: C
