Explanation

The driver of the motor vehicle is obliged to use the dipped-beam headlights together with the fog lights in dense fog, regardless of whether driving during the day or at night. The fog lights to which this obligation refers are the red lights at the rear of the motor vehicle.

There are cases in which motor vehicles are equipped with fog lights also at the front, these are also called "front fog lights" and their use is not mandatory. Both equipping with front fog lights and using them is optional.

It must be known that the use of fog lights in conditions other than fog is prohibited. This prohibition applies both to the red fog lights at the rear and to the front fog lights.

Therefore, in this situation you have the obligation to use the dipped-beam headlights together with the fog lights, and if the motor vehicle is also equipped with front fog lights, it is recommended to use them as well, especially at night.

The use of fog lights in conditions other than fog is sanctioned with the contravention fine provided in the 2nd class of sanctions and with the application of 3 penalty points.

The correct answer is: A
