Question 266 of 1208

How must the driver of the motor vehicle position himself, if he intends to change the direction of travel to the left in an intersection through which trams also move, and the space between the right rail and the curb of the sidewalk allows the movement of vehicles on only a single row?

A on the tram line;
B on the single row left at his disposal, leaving free the tram route;
C in this situation it is not possible to change the direction of travel to the left.

Explanation

The driver of the motor vehicle who intends to change the direction of travel to the left in an intersection through which trams also move, and the space between the right rail and the curb of the sidewalk allows the movement of vehicles on only a single row, will position himself on the single row left at his disposal, without occupying the tram route. We draw attention that the question refers to intersections without lane delimitation markings, more precisely when the direction of travel has a single lane, on which the tram line is also placed.

The correct answer is: B
