The driver of the motor vehicle who intends to change the direction of travel to the left in an intersection through which trams also move, and the space between the right rail and the curb of the sidewalk allows the movement of vehicles on only a single row, will position himself on the single row left at his disposal, without occupying the tram route. We draw attention that the question refers to intersections without lane delimitation markings, more precisely when the direction of travel has a single lane, on which the tram line is also placed.

(1) At the intersections provided with signs and/or with markings for signalling the direction of travel, the drivers of vehicles must position themselves on the lanes corresponding to the intended direction of travel at least 50 m before the intersection and are obliged to respect the meaning of the signs and markings.

(2) At the intersections without lane delimitation markings, the drivers of vehicles occupy while moving, at least 50 m before the intersection, the following positions:
a) the row next to the curb or shoulder, those who want to change the direction of travel to the right;
b) the row next to the axis of the road or next to the marking separating the directions, those who want to change the direction of travel to the left. When the movement takes place on one-way roads, the drivers of vehicles who intend to turn left are obliged to occupy the row next to the curb or the shoulder on the left side;
c) either of the rows, those who want to go straight ahead.
(3) If in the intersection trams also move, and the space between the right rail and the sidewalk does not allow movement on two or more rows, all drivers of vehicles, regardless of the direction of movement, will move on a single row, leaving free the tram route.
