The road traffic legislation provides that when on the traffic lanes there are markings by lane selection arrows you move into position on the traffic lane corresponding to the desired direction of travel at least 50 meters before the intersection.
However, when you travel on a road with two traffic lanes per direction wishing to change the direction of travel to the right, and on the respective lanes there are no markings with lane selection arrows, you must move into position on the right lane at least 50 meters before the intersection. It is wrong from the point of view of safety and the streamlining of the traffic to move into position on the left lane in order to make a turn to the right. If you move into position on the left lane you must give priority to those on the right lane because you will enter their lane when you turn to the right and you must respect the rules regarding traffic on lanes.
