Question 629 of 1208

A few children are crossing the street while playing with a ball. How is it recommended to behave?

A reduce your speed, because the behavior of children can be unpredictable;
B drive without restrictions, because the children will step onto the sidewalk;
C accelerate, in order to leave the area as quickly as possible.

Explanation

Pedestrians have certain obligations and prohibitions when they are engaged in crossing the public road, such as, they are obliged to cross the public road only through specially designated and established places and they are prohibited from stopping or turning around on pedestrian crossings that are not provided with traffic lights.

Even with these obligations on the part of pedestrians, in the case in which you observe a few children who are crossing the street while playing with a ball, you must reduce your speed and increase your attention, because the behavior of children can be unpredictable.
