Question 763 of 1208

What is the crossing order of the motor vehicles, if they arrive simultaneously at the intersection?

A the truck, the tram, the car;
B the car, the truck, the tram;
C the tram, the car, the truck.

Explanation

We draw attention that although this circular-shaped intersection resembles very much an intersection in which the traffic takes place in a roundabout, in this one the traffic is directed by regulatory priority signs, not being an intersection with traffic in a roundabout.

Under each sign there is installed an additional panel indicating the direction of the priority road. The car and the tram come from roads without priority, encountering the “Give way” sign, and are obliged to give priority of passage to the truck.

The truck comes from the priority road, encountering the “Priority road” sign, and has priority of passage over the car and the tram and will pass first through this intersection.

Between the car and the tram an equality situation has been created, both encountering the “Give way” sign, a situation in which the rule of priority from the right will apply, thus the car will give the tram priority of passage because the tram comes to it from the right.

The crossing order is the following: the truck, followed by the tram, and the last to pass through the intersection will be the car.

The correct answer is: A
