In rainy weather you have the obligation to use the low-beam headlights, the fog lights will be used only in conditions of dense fog.
It must be known that the motor vehicles are equipped, mandatory, with red fog lights at the rear part, turning these on is mandatory if driving in dense fog. But these can be equipped with fog lights also at the front part, these at the front are also called front fog lights, the equipment with these is not mandatory and neither turning these on is mandatory if driving in dense fog, even if they are in the equipment of the motor vehicle. However, both types of fog lights, both the rear ones and the front ones, will be turned on only in conditions of dense fog.
For the use of the fog lights in conditions other than in dense fog, a contravention fine provided in class II and a number of 3 penalty points is applied.
