Is prohibited the voluntary waiting of the vehicles in all cases in which the voluntary stopping is prohibited, and the voluntary stopping is prohibited at the continuous marking, when the drivers of the other vehicles who move in the same direction are obliged because of this to cross over this marking, because you oblige the other drivers of vehicles to perform a prohibited maneuver on that road sector.
However, in the situation in which by waiting it does NOT oblige the drivers of the other vehicles who move in the same direction to violate the continuous marking for the separation of the traffic directions, the waiting maneuver is in compliance with the traffic rules, for example on a very wide road or on a road with two or more traffic lanes per direction, where, through the waiting maneuver, the other drivers of vehicles are not obliged because of this to violate the continuous marking.
