The road traffic legislation provides that when on the traffic lanes there are markings with arrows for lane selection to move into position on the traffic lane corresponding to the intended direction of travel at least 50 meters before the intersection.
However, when you travel on a road with two traffic lanes on the direction of travel wishing to change the direction of travel to the right, and on the respective lanes there are no markings with arrows for lane selection, you must move into position on the right lane from at least 50 meters before the intersection. It is wrong from the point of view of safety and traffic flow to move into position on the left lane in order to make a turn to the right. If you will move into position on the left lane you must give priority to those on the right lane because you will enter their lane when you turn to the right and you must respect the rules regarding traffic on lanes.
