The road traffic legislation does not provide that when you are driving at night in the urban area, on a road with several lanes in the direction of travel, you change the main beam light (high beam) to the dipped beam light (short beam)
At night, when approaching another vehicle coming from the opposite direction, you are obliged that from a distance of at least 200 meters to use the dipped lights (short beam), together with the reduction of speed. Thus, if you have in operation the main beam light (high beam), you have the obligation to change it to the dipped beam light (short beam).
