Explanation

In the situation in the question the traffic police officer already performs a signal that means stopping, such as the signal with the arms extended horizontally, at the moment when the driver of the motorcycle approaches the intersection, and the traffic police officer decides to address to him another signal, such as a signal performed with the arm for the vehicle to advance, to overtake, to pass in front or behind him, or any other signal but which does not mean stopping. In this case the driver of the motorcycle must no longer stop but must respect the meaning of the new signal of the traffic police officer.

The correct answer is: A

Regulation** - Article 88

(1) The signals of the traffic police officer who directs the traffic have the following meanings:
a) the arm raised vertically means "attention, stopping" for all traffic participants who are approaching, except for the drivers of vehicles who could no longer stop in safety conditions. If the signal is given in an intersection, this does not require the stopping of the drivers of vehicles who are already engaged in crossing;
b) the arm or the arms extended horizontally mean "stopping" for all traffic participants who, regardless of their direction of travel, move from the direction or the directions intersected by the arm or the arms extended. After giving this signal, the traffic police officer may lower the arm or the arms, his position also meaning "stopping" for the traffic participants who come from the front or from the back;
c) the swinging, during the night, in vertical plane, of a device with red light or of the fluorescent-reflective baton means "stopping" for the traffic participants towards whom it is directed;
d) the swinging vertically of the arm, with the palm oriented towards the ground, means the reducing of the speed;
e) the brisk rotation of the arm means the increasing of the travelling speed of the vehicles or the hastening of the crossing of the road by the pedestrians.

(2) The traffic police officer who directs the traffic may perform signal with the arm for the vehicle to advance, to overtake, to pass in front or behind him, to bypass him on his left or right side, and the pedestrians to cross the road or to stop.

(3) When performing the commands provided in paragraph (1) and (2), the traffic police officer may also use the whistle.
