Is prohibited the voluntary stopping of vehicles in intersections, including in those with traffic circulating in roundabout, as well as in the preselecție area where continuous markings are applied, and in the absence of these markings, at a distance less than 25 meters from the corner of the intersection.
The road traffic legislation does not provide that on the priority roads the voluntary stopping of vehicles is prohibited.
On the unlit road sections the voluntary stopping of vehicles is not prohibited in any conditions. The stopping being prohibited on the unlit roads if the vehicle has all the lights off. As long as the vehicle has the position lights or the waiting lights on, or if it is during the daytime, it is not prohibited the stopping.

The road traffic legislation does not provide anything in this regard.

(1) The drivers of motor vehicles and trams are obliged to use the lighting and/or signalling systems of these, as follows:
a) the position lights or the waiting lights during the immobilisation of the vehicle on the carriageway outside the urban area, from dusk until dawn, during the day when it rains heavily, snows abundantly or there is dense fog or in other conditions that reduce visibility on the public road;

A vehicle may be stopped or waited with all lights off, in the places where these maneuvers are permitted, when it is:
a) on an illuminated road, so that the vehicle is visible from a distance of at least 50 m;
b) outside the carriageway, on a consolidated shoulder;
