The date and time you choose when you make the online appointment are NOT to set the moment when you will take the theory test or the practical test, it is actually the moment when you will arrive at the counter, the place where you will request the registration of the file for examination).
This appointment is made on the website www.drpciv.ro in the section "Online services", then pressing on the subsection "Other services", and then on the subsection "Appointment at the counter".
We inform you that the DRPCIV institution has changed its name to DGPCI and when accessing the address www.drpciv.ro it will automatically redirect you to the website of the DGPCI institution. It is a name change that does not affect you in any way in this online appointment process.
After you have reached the website, the first step is to choose the county, the second step is to select the option "examination file registration" and a last step is to enter your requested data. At the moment when you arrive at the counter at the date and time from the appointment you must tell him that you wish the registration of the file for examination as well as appointment for taking the theoretical test (the theory test) or the practical test (the driving test).
In the case of those who wish to take the theoretical test, if the examination room is open on the day when they arrive with the file at the counter to register it, they will be able to take the theoretical test even on the same day.
